Pamela Johnson has been a business owner since 1980, and has had the RadioShack franchise in Brooklyn since 1984. The RadioShack has a complete selection of electronic products, from digital cameras ,GPS systems, home stereos and DVD players to the parts and pieces and batteries that customers have come to expect.

She has served in some capacity on most of the Chamber committees and projects during the almost 12 years she has been on the board, and has held most of the offices. "I strongly believe in supporting our community through membership in the Chamber of Commerce. As a group we can accomplish so much more than any individual can. The Brooklyn-Irish Hills area is so unique and I love living and doing business here. It is so very important that we all support each other in order to strengthen the area economically."

Michigan International Speedway has called the Brooklyn-Irish Hills area home for the past 40 years. The two-mile racetrack hosts two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series dates each summer with stars such as Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. entertaining fans every June and August. With over 150,000 fans in attendance, MIS hosts the largest single-day paid-admission sporting event in the state and also generates more than $400 million in total economic activity, with more than $260 million of that in direct economic benefit for the state.
